Starting my internship at Kulkul as Executive Virtual Assistant was a new experience for me. Within three months, I started to learn more about how a technology company works and improve my skills through real work. During my internship, I had the chance to work on different tasks, explore new tools, and learn something new almost every week.
Journey of Learning and Growth
One of the main projects I supported was Kulkul Fellowship and Meet Up. I helped with the preparation and launch of the program. While preparing for the fellowship and meet up, I learned about many new AI tools that can streamline our work. AI is not a substitute for doing the actual work; rather, it can serve as a reference and boost productivity.
The biggest thing I learned during my internship is that we can learn a lot by doing. Not every task was something I already knew how to do. Sometimes I had to research a new topic, learn a new tool, or find a better way to complete a task. My mentor was also very helpful in brainstorming and providing new insights into how technology and AI work. I also learned to be more flexible because my tasks were different every week. I worked on content, research, events, communication, and business-related tasks. Because of this, I learned how different parts of a company can work together. Most importantly, I learned that it is okay not to know everything at the beginning. What matters is being willing to learn, ask questions, try new things, and improve.
My Biggest Takeaways from Kulkul
My internship at Kulkul gave me a chance to learn beyond what I expected. I was able to explore AI, technology, content creation, events, and business activities all in one place. I am thankful that I was given the opportunity to contribute to real projects and learn from the experience. I believe the skills and lessons I gained at Kulkul will be useful for my future career. More than just work experience, this internship also helped me understand myself better and discover the areas I enjoy learning about. Thank you Kulkul for the opportunity, experience, and lessons. I am happy to have been part of the Kulkul team, and I will carry this experience with me in my next journey.
And to anyone who wants to learn and grow in the world of AI, I encourage you to check our Kulkul Fellowship! It’s a chance to explore new things, build practical skills, and learn by doing to become AI-native Software Engineer.
