A few days ago, a friend of mpj asked what Kulkul Technology is all about. She said that Kulkul provides free seminars or workshops as a company. And she wondered how Kulkul made profitability if hosting free seminars regularly. Moreover, many often asked questions. And here, as Chief Kul (read: CEO), mpj answers it.
Suppose you’ve been following us from the beginning. In that case, you may be wondering if we’re an EdTech business that offers online courses. Or a software company that develops software for our clients. You are right if you believe we are transitioning from an inexperienced EdTech business offering software engineering education in Indonesia to a software corporation. Our company evolves from a computer education company to a product creation agency.
Our journey began when mpj first started making money online. Since teaching people how to code efficiently was mpj primary source of income online, he would like to expand it to create an outstanding online course provider. At first, the initial aim for February to March 2020 was to replicate the FrontendMasters model and then hyper-localize it with Indonesian engineers. However, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and internal problems, we agreed to concentrate on product development consultancy. We advised clients on how to best design software, beginning with the individuals who create it.

Tech Education
Apart from our core business, we continue to invest heavily in software engineering education. Then, we feel that people are an essential aspect of our company and that tech education is a critical component of a flourishing tech ecosystem.
We currently have a monthly Meetup that you can sign up for on our meetup.com page. We also collaborate with Major League Hacking daily to host high-quality meetups.
