Repositioning a Maritime Leader into a Digital-First Logistics Integrator

Meratus Group, a maritime company with more than 66 years of operational history and over 5,000 employees, initiated a strategic rebranding from a shipping operator into an integrated one stop logistics provider. This shift required more than a visual refresh; it demanded a digital platform capable of representing expanded capabilities and organizational maturity.

The existing website infrastructure was built on Laravel and connected to operational systems supporting complex shipping routes, port networks, and tracking data. A complete rebuild would introduce operational risk. Instead, the transformation was executed by retaining the legacy backend while introducing a new frontend architecture designed for performance, scalability, and brand expression.

The initiative integrated shipment tracking, live route visibility, sustainability communications, and career development content into a unified digital platform. Security and compliance were addressed through OWASP best practice implementation, ensuring the platform met enterprise grade standards.

The result was a structurally modernized web platform that aligned Meratus’ digital presence with its strategic repositioning without disrupting core operational systems.

Digitizing BaZi & Feng Shui into a Scalable SaaS Platform

Lifeguide Consultancy is a Singapore-based BaZi and Feng Shui practice built on traditional manual calculation methods.

BaZi (Four Pillars of Destiny) is a traditional Chinese metaphysical system used to analyze personality traits, life cycles, compatibility, and auspicious timing based on a person’s birth year, month, day, and hour.

Kulkul Technology transformed this knowledge-based practice into a scalable SaaS platform. What was previously dependent on manual interpretation and spreadsheet references is now structured into a programmable calculation engine accessible through a subscription-based web application.

This transition enabled the client to move from purely practitioner-led services to a hybrid digital model—combining self-serve BaZi calculations, automated date selection tools, a premium Floor Plan module, and guided consultation scheduling within a single platform.

The result is a productized system that makes traditional expertise scalable and commercially repeatable.

Centralizing Cross-Functional Visa & Legal Operations on ERPNext

Blitzindo Utama operates in a service environment where visa and legal processes require coordinated execution across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance. As the company grew, operational complexity increased, and reliance on fragmented tools began to limit visibility, consistency, and speed of decision-making. Manual coordination across departments introduced avoidable inefficiencies and weakened structural oversight.

Kulkul Technology led the implementation of a centralized ERP solution to unify these cross-functional workflows into a single operational backbone. The initiative began with structured business analysis to map the real service lifecycle—capturing conditional flows, accountability boundaries, and financial dependencies—before translating them into a system architecture aligned with daily execution.

ERPNext was configured to reflect Blitzindo Utama’s actual operating model rather than imposing a generic structure. This included integrating operational progression, financial governance, and management reporting into one system of record, supported by disciplined migration of historical accounting data and structured user enablement.

The result was not simply system digitization, but the establishment of a structured digital operating model. Blitzindo Utama gained clearer process ownership, stronger data integrity, improved traceability, and faster access to performance insights—creating a scalable foundation for sustainable operational growth.

From National Broadcast to Owned Digital Ecosystem: Structuring OnePride MMA’s Direct Platform

Since 2016, OnePride MMA has operated as one of Indonesia’s leading mixed martial arts competitions, nationally broadcast by tvOne. The competition built strong television visibility and an active event audience across multiple seasons.

However, audience engagement, ticketing, merchandise, and content distribution remained structurally fragmented. Broadcast created reach, but not ownership of the engagement layer.

The strategic objective was to convert broadcast-driven visibility into controlled digital infrastructure. This meant unifying ticketing, live streaming, content, and commerce into a single platform capable of operating beyond television cycles.

The result was a cross-platform mobile ecosystem, supported by a structured backend and administrative governance system, enabling OnePride MMA to operate as a digitally integrated media property.

Digital Survey and Analytics Platform for Structured Public Opinion Management

Kulkul Technology developed a comprehensive web-based public opinion survey system for Patrons Research designed to enable accurate and scalable collection of survey data from a broad audience. The core challenge was to build an intuitive platform capable of serving a wide range of users while producing scientifically valid insights and automated statistical reporting. To address this, Kulkul engineered a web application with a user-friendly interface that simplifies participation and ensures high engagement, alongside a robust backend survey management system that supports administrators in structuring and managing surveys effectively.

The solution includes automated analytics that generate comprehensive statistical outputs, significantly reducing the manual effort required by analysts to draw conclusions from data. In addition to core application development, Kulkul handled domain setup, cloud hosting infrastructure deployment on AWS, and delivered an admin panel and analytics dashboard for real-time monitoring and insights. The result is a fully functional platform that integrates survey execution, data processing, and reporting within a managed and scalable cloud infrastructure, enabling stakeholders to gather reliable public opinion data efficiently and with reduced operational overhead.
