Mobile Productivity Application with Structured Time Visualization Framework

Kulkul Technology designed and developed WatchMyDay, a mobile productivity application that reimagines traditional calendar planning by using an intuitive watch-dial interface to display tasks and events. The project was initiated to address usability challenges faced by users—particularly those who struggle with conventional time-block views in standard calendar tools—by providing a visually engaging and seamless time-tracking experience. Instead of the typical horizontal or grid calendar format, WatchMyDay uses a circular dial interface that aligns more naturally with how people perceive time throughout the day.

Kulkul built the Android application to synchronize multiple calendars such as Google and Outlook, enable easy creation and editing of events, manage reminders and alarms, customize visual themes and event colors, and offer a home screen widget for quick glanceability. To deliver the solution, the team leveraged modern technologies including Kotlin for native development, React and Gatsby for associated web components, Tailwind CSS for design, and Firebase for backend infrastructure. The final deliverables included a fully functioning productivity app published on Google Play Store, supported by a landing page and a dedicated beta tester page, equipping WatchMyDay with both a user-ready product and a growth channel for early adopters.

Digitizing Operational Workflows for a Regional Petroleum Distributor

Gasgun Petroleum is a Thailand-based petroleum distributor managing fuel operations across multiple stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners. As operations expanded, coordination increasingly relied on manual processes and fragmented communication.

Kulkul Technology developed a centralized web application to structure and digitize operational workflows. Built with Angular (frontend) and Django (backend), the platform replaced manual coordination with a role-based system designed to standardize processes and improve operational visibility.

Rather than focusing on cosmetic digitization, the initiative aimed to introduce operational clarity—defining structured data flows, formalizing process checkpoints, and reducing dependency on ad hoc coordination.

The result is a web-based operational system that provides clearer process control, improves information accessibility, and creates a foundation for scalable operational management.

Operational Backend Dashboard Modernization for Multi-Brand Fitness Applications

Kulkul Technology partnered with the team behind the 7 Minute Workout fitness app to address a critical operational need: a centralized administrative dashboard that enables efficient media and content management across multiple branded fitness applications listed on app marketplaces. The existing ecosystem lacked a unified panel for uploading images, videos, and other assets, creating bottlenecks for internal teams. Kulkul delivered a backend solution that significantly improved administrator usability by designing and building a presentable, functional dashboard optimized for rapid internal workflows.

The team leveraged Retool to accelerate development through low-code interface construction, integrated a PostgreSQL database to support structured data handling, and used Node.js to ensure backend performance and scalability. The engagement spanned approximately four months, concluded with no revision requests from the client, and transitioned ongoing maintenance responsibilities to the 7 Minute Workout development team. The end result is a robust internal tool that streamlines content operations for a multi-brand fitness application portfolio, improving administrative efficiency and reducing operational friction.

Web-Based Augmented Reality Platform for Interactive Product Visualization

Kulkul Technology collaborated with Scanblue, an advanced augmented reality (AR) technology firm based in Germany, to expand the accessibility and value of their 3D model generation service beyond its original application scope. Originally focused on creating 3D models of physical objects like furniture and appliances, Scanblue faced a challenge when its initial development team could not support ongoing maintenance and feature expansion. Kulkul stepped in to enhance the product by enabling web-accessible AR viewing of Scanblue’s 3D models via shortened URLs embedded in QR codes, making the AR experience instantly reachable on any device without requiring a dedicated app — a capability particularly valuable in e-commerce contexts where seamless product visualization boosts engagement and conversion.

To achieve this, Kulkul utilized JavaScript and Node.js to detect user platforms and launch the AR viewer tailored to both iOS and Android environments, ensuring a responsive AR experience across devices. A WordPress-based CMS was also integrated to facilitate editorial content management on the Scanblue website. The engagement included on-site consultation and rapid debugging in Jakarta, resolving technical issues within a week and delivering a stable, cross-platform AR solution. This implementation helped Scanblue extend the utility of its AR service, lowering friction for end users and opening up new application scenarios in online retail.

Designing and Delivering a Tokenized Digital Auction MVP with Reliable Real-Time Bidding for Imranet

Imranet operates a daily auction model for brand-new products in original packaging, positioned at prices below merchandise value, and differentiated by a voucher-based refund (50%).  In this context, process credibility—clear rules, correct bid ordering, and consistent outcomes—is a core operational requirement, not just a UI concern.

Kulkul Technology delivered an MVP web-based auction platform to replace fragmented/manual auction coordination with a centralized system managing auction items, bidder registration, bidding flows, and transaction monitoring in one environment.  The MVP included a landing page, domain and hosting setup, an admin panel, and both auction and product modules.

A CEO-level requirement was a smooth sell–bid–buy cycle—specifically a ticket/token model for bidding and integrated payment support.  Kulkul integrated Xendit so users can purchase bidding tokens, and added OTP integration to support access control and user verification during onboarding.

A technically decisive aspect for real-time auctions is handling near-simultaneous bids (race conditions). In auction systems, concurrency must be handled at the transactional level to preserve bid ordering, token balances, and winner determination in an auditable way—because inconsistencies are externally visible and directly undermine trust.

Strategic Web Platform Enablement for Retail Options Trading Services

Kulkul Technology collaborated with Pinders Picks to develop a digital platform that transforms curated product recommendations into a structured and monetizable online experience. The initiative aimed to move beyond informal or manually managed recommendation channels by establishing a centralized web presence where curated selections could be systematically organized, updated, and accessed by a growing audience. The objective was to create a lightweight yet scalable foundation that supports content agility while maintaining performance and usability.

The engagement focused on designing a clean and intuitive user interface that highlights curated picks without overwhelming the user. Behind the interface, Kulkul implemented a structured content management workflow, enabling efficient updates and streamlined publishing processes. The architecture was designed to balance simplicity and extensibility, ensuring that the platform could evolve alongside audience growth and partnership opportunities.

As a result, Pinders Picks gained a dedicated digital platform that formalizes its curation strategy into a repeatable system. The solution improves content visibility, simplifies operational management, and establishes a scalable base for future expansion, positioning the brand for sustained digital growth rather than ad-hoc content distribution.
